Castello, il carattere di Cagliari

Si sale a Castello per un panorama e si resta per tutto quello che accade lungo la strada. Le mura chiare seguono i fianchi del colle; a un’estremità il Bastione di Saint Remy apre lo sguardo sul mare, all’altra l’antico Arsenale si rivolge verso la pianura. È la geografia di un quartiere che per secoli ha ospitato il potere cittadino.

Oggi lo si incontra soprattutto a piedi. Un antiquario, un piccolo bar, una facciata restaurata: ogni svolta aggiunge un dettaglio. Le dimore nobiliari conservano anche le ferite della guerra, accanto a palazzetti tornati a nuova vita. Sui bastioni, caffè e locali prolungano la passeggiata fino a sera. Castello mantiene il suo carattere senza rinunciare alla vita di ogni giorno.

Come to Castello for the view, then stay for the discoveries along the way. Pale ramparts wrap around the hill. Saint Remy opens towards the sea at one end, while the old Arsenal faces the plain at the other. For centuries, this elevated quarter was the centre of civic authority.

Walking is the best way to get to know it. An antique shop, a small café, a restored façade: each turn reveals another detail. Noble residences still show wartime scars beside houses brought back to life. Cafés and bars on the ramparts keep the neighbourhood lively into the evening. Heute entdeckt man Castello vor allem zu Fuß. Ein Antiquitätenhändler, ein kleines Café, eine restaurierte Fassade: Hinter jeder Ecke wartet ein Detail. Adelshäuser tragen noch die Spuren des Krieges, neben Wohnhäusern, die neues Leben gefunden haben. Auf den Bastionen verlängern Cafés und Lokale den Spaziergang bis zum Abend. Castello bewahrt seinen Charakter mitten im Alltag.

Castello mantiene su carácter dentro de la vida cotidiana.

Кастелло бережёт свой характер, оставаясь частью повседневного города.
